I love the Beach!

Daddy's friends (Jaci and Kelly) were great!
We found them on Sunday after church and brought them home with us.

They decided they wanted to see the Boardwalk, which was okay with me--I love the beach!

At first I had to wear a coat and my Monkey, which is no fun AT ALL!

But then Mommy changed me into shorts and I got to go down to the water with Daddy! The water was WAY too cold and I ran away fast!

Daddy and me, we love the beach a lot. I think we should visit it every day.

When Daddy got tired, Mommy took down to the water for a while. We chased the water up and down, but I wasn't getting wet again if I could help it.

I had a great day on Sunday! I liked Jaci and Kelly and I LOVE the beach!!

"'Cause I'm the Grinch"

This morning I came to sudden realization:

I'm the Grinch.
How did I figure this out? There were lots of clues.

I can make a Christmas tree (with a blue spoon and a purple cup), 'cause I'm the Grinch.

I'm a very silly boy (Mommy says so), 'cause I'm the the Grinch.

I drink an apple juice box, 'cause I'm the Grinch.

Pretty much everything I can do is because I'm the Grinch.

As you can see, I'm OBVIOUSLY the Grinch. Well, it's not an easy job, but someone has to do it.

See you later. I'm off to do Grinchy things. Like head-butt my brother, get my diaper changed, and set all my trains up in a row while singing the Thomas the Train theme song.

Later!

Ah-Panes

This is Ducky being an Ah-pane.

Ah-panes fly high and go very far really fast. They make a lot of noise when they fly over our apartment and I love it!

I have lots of toy Ah-panes and lately they are my favorite things.

Do you know what an Ah-pane is for? It's job is to take me to Yaya's house. This is the only way to get there and I've been telling Mommy that we need to go on one right away. I want to go to Yaya's house!!!

I tell Mommy this every day and do you know what she says?

"Not today."

Rats. So close.

New Ban

Mommy has a new car. Sorry, not a car...it's a "Ban".

It looks a lot like Grandma's old Ban, which I also loved. Ban's are really cool!

I love the Ban. It's huge and I get my own seat. In Mommy's other car I couldn't see out the window, but I sit very tall in the Ban and I can see everything!

The Ban has a "magic door" that opens without help and it's MY'S. It opens to my seat, so it must be my's.

And while I'm thinking about the Ban, you know what else? I'm so big now that I can buckle my own seat belt. Mommy helps a little, but I'm a very big boy. And "I'm strong!"

Where They Go?

The weirdest thing EVER happened yesterday. I went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and they weren't there!
I do NOT approve of this. When I go to Grandma and Grandpa's house, I expect them to be there--that's the way it ought to be!

Mommy says they will be back in a three days. THREE DAYS?!?! How 'bout one day? How 'bout two days? How 'bout NOW!

To be fair, I did get to see Alli and Gordon. That was a lot better than nothing. A LOT.

Grandma and Grandpa! You better come home soon! I miss you!

Better than Ducky

This is my brother Tommy. He's still a baby, but only a little bit. He gets bigger all the time and he's finally old enough to be interesting.
Tommy smiles a lot and says "Da da duh!" He laughs and waves his arms like he's a bird. He really laughs when I "rahr him". He follows me EVERYWHERE! He likes to walk and stand really still while he drinks his juice bottle.

Mommy says we are mean to each other--whatever that means.

I guess she's talking about how I like to knock Tommy down when he tries to walk or play with my toys. She might even be talking about how Tommy likes to pull and suck on my hair when I'm getting my diaper changed.

Silly Mommy! These things are FUN, not MEAN.

Tommy and me, we're friends. Best Friends. I know Ducky used to be my Best Friend, but who needs a Ducky when you've got a Tommy? He's WAY better than Ducky!

Me and My Big Mouth!

Whenever Mommy pulls out the camera, I put on my biggest, brightest smile.

Now, I have a REALLY large mouth and when I give a big smile, it's the best you've ever seen!

So, when I do happy things like knocking Tommy over, eating "Rah-lee-olees", or giving Mommy a scene by scene reenactment of my favorite movie (Cars), I give my Fabulous Smile!

Mommy says I'm just showing off and she wants me to give a real smile.

Whatever. This IS a real smile. See how happy I am? Come on, Mommy--it doesn't get any better than this!
