Tommy my Friend
My favorite place to shop is called Costco (I asked Mommy how to spell it). It is best for two reasons. 1-they let you eat treats while you shop. 2-Tommy gets to sit up front with me!
Now, Tommy up front has its downsides. For example, Tommy tries to steal my toys. He also gets really excited sitting by me and yells and laughs a lot. Silly Tommy!
But I like having Tommy around to tease and bump around. I love my baby bother a lot and I like to have him with me.

A Cri-mas Tree
Daddy and me made a tree for Cri-mas this year.
I like helping Daddy make a tree. See? I'm Smilin'!
We pulled it out of a box in parts and put it up in a corner.
See how nice it looked?
Then we all put "Orn-mants" on it. I wanted to play with them, but Mama said no. They are to look at. Rats!
See how nice our Cri-mas Tree is? I've agreed not to touch it and Mama says Santa is going to put presents under it soon. Cool!

No More Nap!
Mommy says I have officially outgrown naps. Well, sometimes I need them. If I have a big busy day or I'm sick, then I will sleep. But I don't really need one every day any more.
Mommy says I don't have to sleep, but I still need "Quiet Time". This means I play by myself in my bedroom for a few hours while Tommy sleeps. I usually take the opportunity to pull everything out of the drawers, toy bins, and closet. You can't believe the mess I can make!
When I make too big a mess or make too much noise, Mommy puts me in my old crib to play. I think that's cheating because she moved the furniture and now I can't get out of the crib.
She moved a lot of things that I'm not happy about. She took some of the wheels off of my truck toy chest just because I used it to climb onto the window sill and tried to break through the window screen. She also took the drawer under my crib away because I rolled around in it. Mommy doesn't get my style of playing.
I just realized, I don't know what Mommy does during my Quiet Time. Maybe she has Quiet Time too.
Anyway, it's nice to finally win an argument. I've been saying "No more nap" for months!

My Hat
Every day I decide to fall in love with something new. Sometimes it's a toy or stuffed animal (Ducky is always my favorite, but I'm okay with having other friends too). Sometimes I drag Mommy's blanket around all day. Sometimes it's a big kitchen spoon.
One day, when I was supposed to be napping, I found this hat in my room. I put it on and wouldn't take it off the rest of the day. Mommy says it's actually Tommy's hat, but she doesn't mind if I wear it.
I still love that hat, though I don't wear it all day like I did the first day. I keep the hat in my room and when I'm cold I put it on.
Don't I look fabulous?
ps In you're curious, today's obsessions are my Lightning Mcqueen and Chick Hicks cars.

Train to the Circus
A few weeks ago Daddy took our whole family on a train to go see the circus. I didn't know what the circus was, but I was excited to ride on the train!
We bought our tickets and then waited for a long time. I had a hard time waiting and I really wanted to jump onto the train track ("ladder"). Daddy wouldn't let me.
When it finally came, it was so loud! I was a little nervous, but Daddy held me and I LOVED watching it pull in and stop just for us!
I got to sit by the window and watch everything go by super fast. Every time the train stopped, people got on and off. I didn't like it to stop. I would tell Daddy, "Go again. Again! Go fast!" Wow--I love trains.
Eventually we had to get off the train and go see the circus. I liked the tent and the little girl we sat next to, but really it was too crowded for me. I wanted to get out, until the show started.
People did tricks and animals jumped around. The clown was called Nino and he was so funny! I loved the animals best, but Mommy and Daddy liked the tricks.
When it was all over, we took the train home again. What a great day!!!!
